City Entertainment Magazine

The Hong Kong Film Awards first started in 1979 by City Entertainment Magazine which ceased publication in 2007; it was once one of renowned film magazine publishers in Hong Kong during early 1990s when Hong Kong cinema was at its peak. Leslie Cheung graced many covers then and had declared his love for City Entertainment Magazine before his death due to suicide in 2003 at 46 years old. To commemorate him upon this 20th anniversary since his demise this year (2023), ‘mov’ has digitized 22 carefully curated magazine covers featuring him into limited edition digital collection cards available only through buying tickets on Mubichike website starting later this year (2023).

NFT Digital Certificate

Each card has its own NFT (Non-fungible Token) digital certificate issued by ‘mov’, “the world’s first WEB3.0 network”. This allows it to guarantee authenticity as well as ownership rights to collector like physical collectibles do; thus allowing them to be traded or exchanged amongst other collectors through their marketplace – mov.movie – where all these limited-edition original creations can be found!

Conclusion

This is Asia’s first project associated with online movie tickets purchase that utilizes blockchain technology via Non-fungible Token (NFT) certification system provided by mov network! It is indeed a very special way to honor Leslie Cheung upon this 20th anniversary since he passed away; while also providing fans an opportunity to create memories out of these limited edition original creations that cannot just be replicated or duplicated!
